Investment & Experience-
Yes. To keep things simple for you, I offer all-inclusive travel pricing for most international and domestic elopements. This means my flights, lodging, and transport are bundled into your package.
-
I know the anticipation is real! You’ll receive a "Sneak Peek" gallery of 10–15 images within 48 hours of your elopement so you can share the news with the world. Your full, high-resolution curated gallery will be delivered via a private online link within 8 weeks.

I do not deliver RAW files. Selecting and editing the images is where the "Sophia Jones" vision truly comes to life. Just as a chef doesn't serve raw ingredients, I deliver a finished piece of art. You will receive a curated selection of the absolute best images, fully edited and ready for print.
-
I highly encourage it! There is something deeply different about holding your story in your hands. I offer custom-designed, fine-art albums printed on museum-quality paper. We can work together after your gallery delivery to select the images that best tell the narrative of your day.
Vision & Creative Process-
My style is a blend of editorial storytelling and cinematic intimacy. I’m not here to document a sequence of events; I’m here to capture the feeling of the day. I prioritize the interplay of light and shadow, the quiet in-between moments, and the epic scale of the landscapes you’ve chosen. My editing is timeless and true-to-tone, ensuring your gallery feels as grounded and honest as the day itself.
-
Absolutely. Because I prioritize your vision, I act as a creative partner from day one. Whether it’s discussing how a velvet texture will catch the light in a forest or helping you choose a color palette that complements the red rocks of the desert, I provide a Creative Direction Guide to ensure your attire and details feel cohesive with the environment.

I don't believe in stiff, traditional posing. Instead, I use gentle, movement-based direction. I’ll give you something to do (like walking together through a meadow or sharing a quiet secret) rather than telling you where to put your hands. This allows you to forget the camera is there and simply exist in the moment with each other.

In the wild, weather is a guest we can't control. But we can embrace it!
Rain, fog, and wind often create the most poetic, high-fashion images. If the weather becomes a safety issue, I always have a "Plan B" location or a flexible window of time. My job is to find the beauty in the atmosphere, whatever that may be.
Scouting & Logistics-
This is one of my favorite parts of the process. Once you book, I create a Custom Scout Report for you. I spend hours researching Google Earth, topographic maps, and local photography networks to find spots that are off the beaten path. Whether you want a cliffside at sunrise or a hidden valley, I’ll find the backdrop that fits your soul.
-
Yes. Every location has its own rules—especially National Parks and international sites. I will guide you through the permit application process and ensure we are following Leave No Trace principles. I handle the logistics of where we can and cannot go so you can focus entirely on your vows.
-
To protect the intimacy of the experience (and the environments we shoot in), I specialize in days with 15 guests or fewer. This allows us to move fluidly through landscapes and keeps the focus on your connection rather than managing a crowd.

Yes, when needed, we collaborate with trusted contractors, architects, and other project partners to help ensure the design is carried through with clarity and care. A strong collaborative process is an important part of creating a well-resolved home.
